Home sweet home!

Today I finished the semester at uni and came back home. I'll be staying here for a couple of days before heading out to Wrocław (polish city) to spend the vacations with my girl friend.
So yeah, I have a couple of days left to the deadline and I'll be trying hard to make it in time. I was thinking a lot about the concept of the movie and I'm pretty sure what I want to do. Tomorrow I'll start capturing footage and possibly start putting it into sony vegas.
I also want to make some changes on my blog. I was thinking about adding pages and lists of tags. There would be a page with my movies, a page about me and a page with tutorials (which I have to write first hah!) So yeah, no slacking!

Grrr

I've spent the last 5 hours, rendering/compressing the final version of the movie just to find out that vegas made some error while rendering the .avi file. Some very short moments of the video were missing (black) but it was enough to ruin it. So yeah, I'll probably start the render now, head to bed and set the alarm so that I wake up in time to start compressing. I want the movie to be online tomorrow morning.
Oh, btw, I forgot to write anything about it in the last post. If you've ever read my blog before you must've noticed the new template. A while ago blogger introduced a new template system and then the background of my old template changed its shape and the posts became harder to read. I thought a new release is a perfect time for fixing it. I also updated the background on my youtube channel.

Capturing footage!

Two days ago I finalized some ql config releated stuff, yesterday I cleaned up 100 gigs from my HDD and today I've began capturing footage:) Already captured all the frags that I rated 10/10 and half way through the 9's. Things are going super fast :)

Oh, btw according to my flag counter, yesterday my blog hit 1337 unique visitors w00t!


Pretty cool I must admit. Anyway, I found a nice blog with music that will fit into the movie, so yeah a lot of listening again:) The music that I use in my videos is really important to me.
