Stuff!

Didn't have much access to the internet in the last 2 days and I didn't have a chance to write a new post. But worry do not, because here it is! Some stuff happened recently, first of all, I passed LIMBO and I think the game is simply fantastic, playing it is a must for everyone. On a related sidenote, I got a email from humblebundle that they have added 3 more games to their fifth edition, among them there's Super Meat Boy, which is the next game I'm going to check out since it has a cool 8bit soundtrack that I listened to while working on pixelbeat. I'll write some more about it after I try it.

Yesterday, there was a one map: The Longest Yard (dm17) quakelive tourney going on. I wanted to signup for it, but because of all the mess with organization, I gave up on it. Apparently it was kind of successful. Maximzr, the best dm17 player, won the final game against noresz (2:1). I might signup for the next tourney, if they'll hold one. Anyway, I have to find out if any of the players made some impressive frags.
Speaking of frags, I watched all my demos for my next movie project. I found some really nice commands in wolfcamql that speed up watching demos.

• fragforward - which playbacks only frags (5 seconds before the frag and ~3 seconds after it) 
• seekclock - which allows you to jump to any part of the demo (seekclock minutes:seconds)

With these two commands I can go through demos much, muuuch faster. I might start working on this new project soon. With all the experience from my past projects, I make movies faster, and faster. So yeah, expect a new movie this summer.

B*C, instaFreezeTag and ClanBase

In accordance to my recent decision about posting more about myself and the things that I do. I wanted to write a bit about my clan and the tourney we compete in. I'm a part of Bad Company (B*C) for over 2 years. It's an iFT (instaFreezeTag) clan which originates in the NoGhost mod of Quake III Arena (pr. 1.16n). Our lineup consists of 4 main players: x2v from Estonia, tchnx from Hungary, H7x2 from Italy and me. Over the years, we have taken part in a few of online ClanBase cups.

Right now we're taking part in our second Quake Live iFT cup. We won the first one, and now we are going to play the final match of the current cup on tuesday. It's going to be against the same clan we played the final in the last cup - synergy. Word is that they got a lot better since last time.. we are going to find out about that soon!:)

A little update

Didn't have time since last weekend to post anything. A lot of exams and stuff @ uni, luckily so far everything related to uni goes great. :)

Last weekend I've managed to upload the vid yey! Today the tek9 staff updated the 'video release rules' so that starting from tomorrow, they will release 10 videos per day. Which means I have no idea when exactly everyone will be able to see it! Within 2 weeks that's for sure (over 100 vids)

I've signed up for some QL duel cups recently:

• ESReality Community QL League - Season #2
• SideWinder Arena Championship

Today I managed to play and win my first game in the second one. It's a tourney reserved for polish players. Tomorrow I'll have my next match, this time it won't be so easy ;)
I'll also do my best to play a few matches from the ESR league, so yeah some crazy duel action this weekend :)
